This sámi experience gives you a taste of traditional culture, as well as knowledge about modern reindeer herding. Meet our friendly reindeers and experience stories around an open fire in a traditional sámi house!

Your Pathfinder will guide you and tell you about the different buildings that are situated at the camp in Repisvare. We will go into the enclosure where the reindeers will meet us. We will feed the reindeers and maybe they will eat out of your hand (if you wish).
We will show you some examples of Sàmi handicraft and how it's made.

The sámi camp is located in beautiful forest next to the mountain Dundret. This experience gives you a 5 - 10 minutes trip in reindeer sledges trough the forest around the camp.

In our traditional sámi house we will make a fire and coffee. To the coffee we serve a reindeer meat sandwich and you will also get an opportunity to try coffee cheese (a local delicacy). Your Pathfinder will tell you about the local sámi culture and history, as well as the life of a reindeer herdsman of today.
