The main building is a big turf
hut which can hold up to 40 persons. This is the perfect surrounding
for a traditional Sami meal. Food is served around an open fire
where you will sit on reindeer hides on the floor. As you enjoy
your meal our guide will tell you about Sami culture and life
in past time as today.
Close to the turf hut you will find an enclosure with reindeers.
We will walk into the enclosure to say hello to our friends. They
are very tame and like people, if you like you can feed them.
They are strictly vegetarians so they won't bite you. You can
also try to handle a lasso, the proper way of catching a reindeer.
We will teach you how to handle the lasso and everyone that wish
can try to catch our reindeer antlers.

people can visit the saami camp.
