Presentation
of Photographers
During the years a lot of really excellent
photographers has visited Pathfinder Lapland's tours and it's
mostly their pictures you can see on this site. Here follows a
short presentation of the photographers, and at the same time we
will thank them all for their kind contribution.

Staffan Widstrand
Photographer and journalist who have won
several awards, among others elected Nature photographer of the
year in Sweden 2002. Staffan has published several books, and is
one of the founders of "the big five " a project to
teach people about the five big predators in Scandinavia. He is
also one of the founders of the Swedish ecotourism society.

Kate Kärrberg
Kate Kärrberg has during the years followed
the daily life in Unna Cerus and Sirges Sámi communities. Kate
has written a study book about Sámi people, and produced several
exhibitions and slide shows that have been touring around the
world. Her pictures have been published as Swedish stamps 2004!
Kate's family are since a long time personal friends of us and
they acted guests on our reindeer trekking pioneer tour back in
1999, a fantastic experience that gave us a lot of beautiful
pictures.

Pål Hermansen, Norge
Pål Hermansen participated in our first
springtime migration tour, in 2004. Pål is an experienced
traveller in the Artic who has written several books, among them
”Svalbard, Arctic Land" published in 2003.
